This project- now in select screenings- is both a transatlantic journey and an encounter of those who consider themselves Irish. By looking at seven people’s lives, living in both the United States and Ireland, we take a trip and gain insight into modern Ireland, while learning about its past…
The next chance to see “Seven Shades of Green” is at the Irish Pastoral Centre with on March 3rd at 7pm.
I am excited to be partnering with this great organization- What a night to see a movie, getting close to the great saint’s day. Stay tuned, we hope to see you there!

I had the great opportunity to show “Seven Shades of Green” to about 40 senior members of the Irish Pastoral Centre on Nov. 10. They came to visit another Pastoral Center, the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Boston in Braintree, MA.
Great to be able to visit with them, find out what counties some of them were from, and recieve their feedback after the screening. Seems like they liked it! Thanks to all who helped make this event possible-
I am happy to annouce that “Seven Shades of Green” will be shown at the Maine Irish Heritage Center in Portland Maine on May 21 at 7pm. The address is 34 Grey Street, Portland ME 04112. Look forward to it!

In honor of the great saint and his day, I wanted to post this clip that renders a vision of St. Patrick (see below). The saint plays an important role in this documentary.

Also, I finally finished the requirments of my Masters Degree- so I am psyched about that!
On Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7:30pm, “Seven Shades of Green” will show at Boston College.
Afterward, I will be speaking a bit on the production of this picture and taking any questions the audience might have. The staff at Boston College’s John J. Burns library has been very gracious in allowing me to research and use beautiful archival images from their rare collection in this production. These treasures played a vital role in the story. I look forward to bringing this documentary to campus!
